In honour of Mothers Day here in Ireland, I thought I’d do things a little differently and ask my mum what her favourite things were this month 🙂 She was so chuffed when I asked her and at first didn’t know what to say, but eventually she gave me a few things and I have to say, even though it may be a little bias, my mum’s heart if filled with love for everything, especially the small things we all sometimes take for granted!
My mum is the kind of lady who loves to look out here window in the morning and look at the beauty of everything before anyone else. She loves seeing the spiders webs in the morning covered in dew and frost, such dainty and fragile things need to be appreciated before they disappear
She the women who love’s to take long walks just to enjoy what nature has to offer, while we still have it. My mum takes our dog Hank for a walk almost every day and no matter how many times they walk the same route, she will never get tired of it because of all that nature has to offer, especially this time of year with the fresh new buds poking their heads out and the snowdrops and daffodils covering the ground
My mum loves the sound of the bird’s singing their beautiful songs in the mornings and evenings, she love’s seeing the new born lambs jumping and playing in the fields this time of year and she loves going to watch the sunset
But I think above all else, and in true Irish fashion, my mum’s favourite thing is a good aul cup of tea! but not just any aul one, no! My mum loves a cup of tea that is made especially for her 😀 She says Tea always taste the best when its made for you, and if it is in a China cup well there isn’t anything that can beat it 😉
My mum has so much love in her heart and has been a light in so many lives and today, and be it, every day I want to wish her all the happiness and blessings in the world.
I want to wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums out there and I hope that today is a blessed and Happy day for you all 🙂
All The Best
