Hi Lovelies,

As you know I’m doing this challenge along with  Britts Daily Dose &Sit Back And Just Live They welcomed anyone to link up with them and take part also😀 All you need to do is 1. post the below banner and 2. link both of their blogs in your post!

You may not know this about me, but I come from a very musical family. My dad is a fantastic piano player, my brother plays guitar in a Trad Band(Traditional Irish Music) and I’ve been singing over half my life in one shape or another.

Classical was where my love for music first came from. I would sit down at my dad’s piano and play away for hours. It didn’t matter how hard the piece of music was or how many pages long if I loved how it sounded and how it made me feel then I played it 🙂

As I grew up I started learning how to play song’s that I could sing to and this for me was musically the best aspect of my teenage years. I played and sang so much that my family put a time limit on when I could and couldn’t play, which frustrated me at first but taught me how to use my time wisely!

When I got my first iPod was when I started to really branch out and start listening to other sorts of music. I used to find ways to wrap up my earphones in my hair and leave music on while in school which surprisingly always worked cause no one ever noticed, well at least I don’t think they did. It was here that I started loving Emo music. My Chemical Romance was top of my list and I still find myself today throwing a few of their classics into any new Albums I create

I have gone through many phases of music. from Emo to Rock and Classical to Pop. My favourite might change all the time, but my love for music has and never will go away.  Music has the ability to transport us back to any moment of our past which can make it a pretty powerful tool!

What is the music of your heart? Let me know in the comments

All The Best!

CJ 🙂

So cool, I loved learning this about you. I’m totally fascinated that you and your family are all so musically inclined; that’s an amazing trait to have as music surely soothes my soul!

    1. It soothes mine as well 🙂 I’m blessed to have the talent as I know many are not as musically inclined as me 🙂
