Healthy Mango Smoothie Bowl

Hi Lovelies,

As you know my healthy kickstart journey started last year and is still ongoing. I’m learning so much about food, exercise and how to get an equal balance in my life 🙂

One thing I’ve really learned is the importance of a good healthy breakfast and today I wanted to share a quick recipe for my new favourite thing to have a Mango Smoothie Bowl 😀

Ingredients for Smoothie Base:

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen mango pieces (about 10 ounces)
  • 1 ripe banana, cut into chunks.
  • 3/4 cup Unsweetened Almond milk or Low Fat Cow’s Milk

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into any bowl and top with whatever fruit, seeds or nuts you wish. My favourites are Kiwi, Goji Berries, grapes, blueberries and strawberries

You can jazz this up in whichever way you like, I put a cup of fresh spinach into mine to make it a green smoothie bowl and it also worked and tasted amazing 😀

have you tried smoothies bowls? if so let me know any recipes and toppings you like to use 😀

All The Best

CJ 🙂
