Mint Hot Chocolate

Happy Blogmas Day 16 🙂

This weekend I’ll be doing a quick trip home before I officially drive home for Christmas and I know when I get home, like every year I will make this amazing Mint Hot Chocolate from scratch! It’s so simple and if you don’t like mint you can replace it 🙂

Ingredients:

1 cup Milk

150ml Double Cream

150g Mint Chocolate (our plain)

Fresh Chopped Mint Leaf (or marshmallows)

Method:

Chop the chocolate and place in a big bowl. Heat the milk until almost boiling and pour over the chocolate and leave for a few minutes then give it a good mix and pop it back in the pot. Pour in the cream and heat up to whatever temperature you like. Finish off by added either chopped mint leaves, marshmallows or whipped cream 😉

I love hot chocolate at any time of the year, but especially at Christmas, as it always reminds me of days sitting by the fire watching the rain pour outside 🙂

Do you have a favourite drink you enjoy this time of year? Let me know in the comments if you try this our or have a favourite recipe of your own 🙂

All The Best

CJ 🙂

Yum, I think I’d love the hot from the drink itself and the cool from the mint, great combination 🙂
