So before I start Blogmas, I wanted to take a few minutes and update you on how my Healthy Journey has been going the last few weeks since I had my reassessment. I’ve been keeping to a mostly vegetarian diet, with a few days a week having a lean protein.
With trying to prepare fresh meals comes the stress of shopping and knowing what to actually make. Enter my new-found amazing App 🙂 Yummly
Now just so you know, I’ve not been asked to write about this app, I actually stumbled on it and decided to try it and boy I’m glad I did.
Basically, what it is is a massive recipe book in which new recipes are added all the time are easily assessable. What I like most about it tho is that not only does it give you a cooking method but it also gives you the number of calories, ingredients and how many minutes the cooking time is for each meal will be. Which if you are trying to control any of these is very helpful 🙂
You can also filter it to exclude recipes with dairy or for any ingredients you may be allergic too 🙂
This app has really helped me the last few weeks find new recipes and ones i can whip up in no time 🙂 I’m not sure if it is available on android but it is in the App Store. I’ve joined my local gym since my last update also, but I will speak more about that in my next update 🙂
