Edinburgh Travel Diary – Day 1

Hi Lovelies!

As you know I had the pleasure of going to Edinburgh with my bestie at the weekend ๐Ÿ˜€ I can now say I’ve fallen in love with the city and have already booked and planned my second trip ๐Ÿ˜€ It is so beautiful and the people are so lovely, which made the whole experience even better. We packed a whole lot into our 2 days so I’ve decided to split this diary into two parts so as not to make this the longest post every ๐Ÿ™‚

After we landed we got the bus into the centre city and started the search for our hostel. We stay in Castle Rock Hostelย ย which as the name suggest is right beside the Castle Rock itself!

As we got in very early we had to wait a while before our room was ready, which we expected and were okay with, we were able to leave our bags and head out to explore the city and see what we were in for ๐Ÿ™‚

It was on this walk that we found the beautiful St Giles Cathedral. I was so taken back by the beauty of not only the architecture but the lovely detail and the stained glass windows were of impeccable quality.

That night we headed to one of Edinburgh’s most recommended pubs The Three Sisters ๐Ÿ˜€ It was a fantastic night, they showed The Rocky Horror Picture Show on two massive screens so we ordered some food and drinks and were happy out for the night ๐Ÿ™‚

Stay tuned for part two of this Travel Diary coming soon ๐Ÿ™‚

If you’ve been to Edinburgh please let me know what you thought and if you’ve visited or stayed in these places I’d love to hear how you liked or disliked them ๐Ÿ™‚

All The Best!
