My Onboard Travel Bag Essentials

Hello Lovelies 🙂

I will be travelling to Edinburgh in Scotland this weekend and so in preparation I thought I’d just do a quick post on what exactly I put into my onboard travel bag 🙂 Now I touched briefly on packing  in a previous post about my travel checklist, but I wanted to go into more detail on what I pack in my onboard travel bag 🙂

With so many restrictions it can be really hard to remember what you can and can’t bring but with this list, I never go wrong 🙂

Mini wet wipes/Body Towelettes

These are a life saver in more ways than one! They can be used to clear down the tray table and clean your hands before eating and the towelettes are a perfect way to freshen up a little bit right before exiting the plane 😉 I use one’s from L’Occitane  but any you have are fine also.

Toothbrush and toothpaste(travel size if possible)

Personally, I always have a septate toothbrush and paste set aside for when I’m travelling. I suffer terribly from bad breath and so this saves me a lot of self-conscious moments! A lot of people just prefer to carry gum and that is okay but for me, I like that clean feeling 🙂

Spare socks, underwear and t-shirt

Not everyone thinks to bring these, but what if your bags get lost and you don’t have enough money to buy new clothes? Having these basics items means that if that ever happens you don’t have to worry about being stuck in the same outfit for days on end 😀

Beauty Travel Bag

This can be anything you wish that is beauty/body related. For my upcoming travels, I’ve put together is perfect little bag of L’Occitane goodies which includes, but is not limited to, shampoo & conditioner, hand & foot cream, face cream, face serum and a light BB Cream 🙂 I put this together from my own collection but lots of places sell beauty travel sets so just look around for what you like, or fill out little travel bottles with your own  🙂

Travel Document Pocket

Nothing worse than not remembering where you left your boarding pass, parking ticket or worse again..your passport! Last year I spotted this cute Document Pocket and it’s honestly become part of every travel adventure since 🙂 When I get my tickets, boarding passes and passport, I pop them in here and always put them back, that way I know exactly where to find them 🙂

I try my best not to bring to many electronics, but if I have to bring something I normally bring my iPad and a spare battery pack, along with the charger for my phone. If you’re worried about not having something to do, then I suggest spending a little money and buying a book or magazine, it is a great way to pass the time, especially on short flights 🙂

And that is what I normally carry in my on board travel bag.Basic I know but I like to keep it as simple as possible so as not to be lugging around a heavy bag all day 🙂

What are your essentials for travelling? Let me know in the comments if you have any go-to items that you travel with 🙂

All The Best!

CJ 🙂
