As you may know, I started my Healthy Kickstart Journey 8 weeks ago to help get my body back on track health wise. I titled my first post my Weightloss Journey, but actually, my focus wasn’t solely on losing weight, but knowing that when I have a healthy diet and lifestyle then my body will adjust to a healthy weight. After consulting with my doctor and nutritionist I decided to try a vegan diet for 8 weeks and then reassess everything and see whats working and whats not.
After speaking with my nutritionist again, I’ve decided to change the way I go about things as a few things were not working for me.
Firstly, I’m not going to put any pressure on myself to stick to any said diet. whether that be vegan/ vegetarian or any other. That doesn’t mean I’m going to go crazy and eat steaks and junk food every day, it just means that I’m going to adapt a food plan of ‘everything in moderation.’ If I want chocolate, then I’ll pick a square of dark instead of milk. If I want popcorn I’ll go for a small or kids size. If I want to have a meat free day I’ll have it.
Secondly, this is not the end of my Journey and it’s not the end of my Healthy Kickstart updates either! The support I’ve gotten from you guys is amazing 🙂 it’s blown me away! All the messages/emails/comments I’ve gotten in support is crazy and I’m not going to let that go 🙂 I may not do an update every week but I’ll keep you posted 🙂
I hope you guys will continue to support me because it is much appreciated! My journey is not over and I know that getting a Healthier, Fitter me will not be easy. These last 8 weeks have shown me that, but I’m not giving up 😀
