Hi Guy’s 🙂
Time for another Travel Tuesday 😀 This weeks post is all about a recent trip to Belfast that myself and Billy took. Would you believe that I’ve never been to Belfast before, so it was a surprise to me. Everything about it was very different, Belfast really has that English feel, I was overwhelmed with the beauty of some the buildings and the preservation of the architecture was amazing!
But before we went exploring the City, we actually took the tour around the Titanic Experience out on the Docks. For someone who has always loved the Titanic, it was amazing and we learned so much about Belfast as a city and what building the Titanic did for it.
Part of the tour included a full layout of what the cabins would have looked like, The luggage that would have been onboard and some of the china used. The differences between First , Second and Third Class is very noticeable and makes you sad for some of the people who used all their life savings to get a bed on the Titanic.
At the end, you actually got to see what one of the lifeboats looked like and hear the real voices of some of the survivors as they tell you their account of what happened on April 15th 1912.
It was a fantastic tour and well worth driving all the way for 🙂 If you are visiting the Belfast area, then taking a small detour to visit it is a must 🙂 There is a lot that I didn’t get to see and do this time, but Belfast is a City I think I would never get sick of 🙂
If you’ve been to Belfast and you think I’ve left anything worth seeing out then let me know in the comments 🙂
All The Best!
